Forest of Piano Vol. 12 (Kodansha, 2026)

This is a story about a piano, pitifully abandoned in the woods, and a young boy, Kai, who grew up playing it as his favorite toy. Kai continues his journey through the International Chopin Piano Competition, and as the second round begins, a pianist named Pan Wei takes the stage, playing with a style that eerily mirrors that of Kai's teacher, Sosuke Ajino. However, before long, the mystery behind Pan's connection to Ajino is revealed.
